3. Golden Harvest Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Bourbon (or any whiskey of your choice)
  • 1/2 oz Freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 oz Lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz Honey syrup (1:1 ratio honey and water, warmed to combine)
  • 1/2 oz Amaretto
  • 1 Hoshizaki sphere ice cube
  • Hoshizaki KMEdge™ crescent ice
  • A fresh flower and a mini wooden clothespin to garnish (or anything of your choice)

Instructions:

Prepare this in advance:

In a small saucepan, mix equal parts honey and water. Warm over low heat until the honey dissolves. Let cool before storing in a container.

Make the drink:

In a cocktail shaker, add bourbon, orange juice, lemon juice, honey syrup, and amaretto.

Fill the shaker with Hoshizaki KMEdge™ crescent ice and shake well for about 15 seconds to chill the ingredients.

Place a Hoshizaki sphere cube into a small rocks glass and strain the shaken mixture into the glass, pouring it gently over the ice sphere.

Take a small, fresh green flower (like a chrysanthemum or similar) and attach it to the side of the glass using a small clothespin, as shown in the image. You can also garnish it as per your choice.

Optional variations:

You can substitute bourbon with dark rum or even mezcal for a smokier profile that suits the fall season.

For a stronger fall spice flavor, add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg to the honey syrup.

4. Autumn Bourbon Sour

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz Spiced honey syrup (honey infused with cinnamon, cloves, and a hint of nutmeg)
  • 1/2 oz Red wine
  • Hoshizaki 1by1 Cube ice
  • Twisted lemon peel

Instructions:

Prepare this in advance:

Combine 1/2 cup honey and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan. Add a cinnamon stick, a few cloves, and a pinch of nutmeg. Heat gently until the honey is dissolved, then remove from heat and let it steep for 10 minutes. Strain and cool before storing in a container.

Make the drink:

In a cocktail shaker, combine bourbon, fresh lemon juice, and 3/4 oz spiced honey syrup.

Fill the shaker with Hoshizaki KMEdge™ crescent ice and shake well for about 15 seconds to chill the ingredients.

Place Hoshizaki 1by1 ice cubes in an old fashioned glass. Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass, pouring it over the ice.

Slowly pour the red wine over the back of a spoon just above the cocktail. This will allow the wine to float on top, creating a layered dark red color.

Add a twisted lemon peel or skip the garnish for a cleaner look that focuses on the drink’s gradient.

Optional variations:

You can substitute the bourbon with rye whiskey for a spicier touch.

The red wine can be a deep, bold variety like Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot to enhance the fall flavors.
