A few specific Q&A items related to your website

These are the CSS classes that sometimes get edited/deleted on accident. That’s okay. Mistakes happen and that is why we have this Q&A.

Main navigation buttons

If the button style accidentally gets deleted or is not appearing, here is where you edit that to get it back:
Appearance > Menus > Select the Main Nav > Expand the menu item > ensure the appropriate class “see below class” appears in the CSS class field

  • Main navigation distributor link button class : btn-mobile btn-distributor
  • Main navigation request quote link button class : btn-mobile btn-quote

Mega menu columns class

If the right rail on the mega menu get’s deleted or revised, here is where you edit that to get it back:

Appearance > Menus > Select the Main Nav > Hover over the main nav link you need to edit to click on the Mega Menu button > enter the below class in the right rail column settings (click gear icon)

  • Mega menu right rail text area column class : mm-text

Mobile only navigation links

  • The main menu may have a bunch of pages listed that do not appear in the main navigation on desktop, but they do appear in the menu on mobile devices.
  • In the menu link in Appearance > Menus > main navigation > These extra pages have a menu class of :mobile-only

All other classes used on this website are automatically saved to your page block templates so you won’t need to worry about them.

  • All sections (i.e., rows, page blocks, layouts) shown in your designs and examples found in the Page Blocks page
  • Use these block pages as reference guides when building brand new pages or editing existing pages.
  • These page blocks are saved in WordPress as page block templates so you can easily load them when you are on a page and editing.
  • Watch your CMS training recording for more information on how to manage your content with page blocks.

Can more block options and styles be added?

Sure! This requires more design and development time. Talk with your PM to determine what makes the most sense for your project timeline and budget.

NOTE: If this is a post-launch request, submit a support request with all the details on your block needs.
