Hoshizaki America Keeps Up Annual Holiday Giving Tradition
Despite a year filled with many challenges, employees at Hoshizaki America’s two Georgia manufacturing facilities dug deep to sustain the annual holiday tradition of holding a food and toy drive to benefit those in need. This was the fourth consecutive year of the drive, embodying Hoshizaki’s long-standing commitment to giving back to the community.
“One of the best things that we can do is help one another,” said Sally Ray, Director of Marketing at Hoshizaki. “All of us together can make a better community – one can, one toy, one smile at a time.”
Over the last four years, employees have collected close to 45,000 lbs. of canned food for the Real Life Center and the Five Loaves and Two Fish Food Pantry, benefiting local families in Fayette, Coweta and Spalding counties. This year also included a donation of just under 3,700 lbs. to the Midwest Food Bank in Peachtree City, GA. Employees have also filled dozens of donation boxes for Toys for Tots.
